Self-Treatment for Low Back and Hip Pain Sufferers
November 9–10, 2012 (1½ day)
Louisville, Kentucky
$115
Instructor: Amber Davies, LMT
At age 18 I suffered an injury that caused me to live with low back pain for 6 years. Trigger point massage solved my pain for good. I will teach you how to get control of your life again. Come to Louisville and learn first-hand from me. Clair Davies was my father and mentor. Together we created the method of trigger point self-applied massage detailed in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook.
Many conditions result in low back pain. Trigger points are almost always involved. According to the physicians that study muscle pain, trigger points are the primary cause of muscle pain. Myofascial pain, or muscle pain, is often excruciating and debilitating. Trigger point pain can be deep and achy, burning, constant and dull or even sudden and stabbing.
My assistants and I will teach you self-applied massage techniques that you can use anytime, anywhere with simple tools like a tennis ball or hi-bounce ball. Sure, you can spend lots of money on expensive tools, but if you can’t find the trigger points, they won’t do you much good.
